This is the sound of general hub-bub for crowd scene actors which makes a good title too though it has nothing to do with this shot – and neither does rhubarb….
Although it looks rather like Rheum rhabarbarum, it is a macro-abstraction of New Zealand flax ‘Sundowner’ – a Phormium that makes an architectural statement in container or centre piece for summer bedding plants and even now is ‘#InthePink‘ and squared off for Becky’s challenge.
Although, remarkably looks like a close-up of rhubarb. (Also my favorite pie, so I guess I really want it to look like rhubarb.) Great shot! Would love to have a large blow-up, framed and hanging on my living room wall. Framed & signed would be even better 🙂
Framed & signed 🤣I too love rhubarb – in a crumble😋
This is lovely – the colours are so delicate.
It’s a strikingly subtle pink this Phormium – wish it had not been such a breezy day so the detail would be finer
I don’t know if it happens to you, but every time I try to take a close up of a flower, a breeze blows!
yes indeed – hold still I want to shout!
Beautiful, and I was so convinced it was rhubarb!!
the macro gives a cunningly deceptive depth to this New Zealand flax 😉
Certainly does 😊 a brilliant shot
And there I was, thinking you’d done a food post on a rhubarb recipe 😀
I leave that to you!
