All at sea

Well the admirals have all left and once again a historic London landmark is being converted/upcycled to the requirements of wealth:

On completion, Admiralty Arch will be open to the public for the first time, housing a 100-room Waldorf Astoria hotel, several restaurants, a state-of-the-art spa, a private members’ club and one to four private residences (depending on the buyer).

Adjacent to St James’ park, and with Royalty at the other end of the Mall, Admiralty Arch was unlikely to be turned into affordable housing for common-or-garden Londoners!

Still, whilst construction is ongoing, the puddled pavements made for an interesting photo. And I’ll be popping by this week to catch up with progress.
