Evidently the architects of Kings Cross station concourse envisaged such a thing when they built “Europe’s largest single-span station structure, comprising of 16 steel tree form columns that radiate from an expressive, tapered central funnel.” It’s certainly something to gaze upon whilst waiting for the departures board to flag up the relevant platform.
