Seeing these curves and straight lines I switched to high contrast mono to emphasise this semi-abstract and geometric approach by the river Thames towards Battersea power station’s resurrection as a high altar of consumerism…
and thankfully, consumption- since within these railway arches is a modern pan-Indian restaurant which more than satisfied.

For Monochrome Monday – starting the week in black and white sometimes

The first picture gets to me the most. I’ve a fondness for water. Me thinks the saturated black darkness serves to make the lighted part of the scene all the more rich. But then, the contrast also makes the dark (dark means promise) all the more attractive too. Beautiful Laura.
thank you Neil – each makes the other stand out – complementary contrasts
These pull you right in. (K)
thank you Kerfe for entering here! it’s the vanishing curves that intrigue
I am curious about your modern pan-Indian lunch ?
