Train cancellations, delays due to a trespasser on the railway, – such are the frustrations of travel yet these times are also photo opportunities. And whilst waiting at the station, catching the crowds of hurrying passers-by with enough shutter slowness to trap them like ghosts in their segments of time. Note how dull and uniform, yet how sensible, is the footwear for a February day!

Crowds of men and women attired in the usual costumes, how curious you are to me!
…the hundreds and hundreds that cross, returning home, are more curious to me than you suppose,

I like these, I am drawn to the abstract.
thanks Paul – I too think that is half the appeal
No moment wasted. Good for you Laura. Ghostly real. Reminded me of something else, interesting but posed, then realized your work is always in real time, which is more appealing being inside this thing we call life.
yes catching the moment rather than wasting it – I think as you say Neil, it gives something extra to the capture without the preplan
Life passing by… what brilliant captures, Laura!
many thanks Marina – like clouds these formations will never form the same way again!
Stillness and movement all at once. (K)
Love the paradox
