If there is one thing that suits black and white it is the designs of art deco. Here the floor and stairwell at the Tate Gallery (now called Tate Britain to distinguish it from its other offshoots like Tate Modern) though now I wished I’d waited for the passer-by to pass by and given the whole area more than just a passing snapshot.

I understand, half-agree, however, in contrast that passer-by lends a certain human quality I can appreciate too. Do we subtitle, “a passer-by photographing a passer-by”? Could that be a whole sub-group?
you have a point Neil and I think that was my original motive (and also my partiality for ‘Footer’ photos) but this time the historical elements don’t mix well and there is a distraction/detraction from the patterning
