I love the shades of spring greens but they convert readily to greyscale and display a different kind of beauty when highlighting the foliage detail of Hosta leaves

Monochrome Monday in praise of hosta Empress Wu and ‘Katsuragawa Beni’

The texture always shines in greyscale. (K)
textures are made for greyscale 😉
I’d recognise those Hosta leaves in green or grey but the greyscale does add a deeper dimension
feels almost a sin to remove the green of Spring after such a long wait but forms show up better without it and Hostas are if nothing else, lovely forms
