Like a Johnny-come-lately, Summer has arrived here at last, at least for the near future too but no, I’m not taking a holiday. Rather, for the next 2-3 weeks am busy in my Japanesque garden finishing off some landscaping jobs with a friend. Back only on the 8th August to host my poetry prompt with one or 2 scheduled posts posting themselves in between.
“I could never in a hundred summers get tired of this.” –Susan Branch

Enjoy your break!
thanks David – going into the real world for a while
Most photographers do bees & flowers, but this is exceptional. This shows us another world, another universe, complete within itself. A place of “real imagination.” More than beautiful.
what scintillating feedback Neil though I think I owe the wind some input as it nudged the spirea off centre
You’re the one who brought it all together. So yea Laura, take credit for the wind being right.
I humbly accept Neil
What a delightful garden
thanks Paul and for paying the garden a ‘visit’
A lovely image to leave us with. I hope you have good weather to work on the garden, I shall look forward to an update.
lovely comment Jude – thank you so much and for following my garden
Enjoy the garden work, Laura…I love this photo, it speaks of the season.
thank you – a season that has not been kind to pollinators at first with so much rain so yes a joyous sight at last
