I set out with camera to my local pond, looking for nothing in particular but mindful of colour palettes I might like to try since the day was mostly overcast and somewhat muted – in the process I ended up with one or other photo having something in common with another, either in form, hue or subtitle.

Oh my! Looking at both form and color, far past monocular sight, the word I see here expressed is “splash.” Odd response? But there it is – a splash of growing green, then when green changes for Autumn’s gaze, and look, even a bird’s feathers can splash.
Reminds me of an old sea-captain’s telescope. Looking through the wrong end reveals nothing much. Turned right-way round, the universe becomes visible, understood. Lovely work Laura.
And gosh, never have seen my old Safari handle a blog format so disastrously. Had to change browsers to even see at all. Maybe that says more about me than I care to say.
Splash is a good verb for ponds especially when applied to colour! Thank you seeing through the other end of the telescope

I love the dappled light through the trees.
thanks Paul – the moments of light were few and far between so was fortunate to catch one or two
Gorgeous pictures, Laura
