Town Squares, Garden Squares, private and public, London is full of them, some famous as Trafalgar square, written into song as Berkeley square’s nightingale and one was my home for 30 years.
Only the featured image is an actual London square – but for some brief snatches of my journeying in London yesterday, I turned the Ricoh Griii’s image ratio to 1:1 – click for a closer view of these seven squares:
Stretching a point for Becky’s Seven Squares for September theme

so lovely to have you back for squares, and love how you have interpreted the theme
thank you Becky for hosting- I forget how much I like the square format
I think we all find this when squares starts again!
I love the way each image flows into the next. The window and mannequin is my favorite. So many stories in each one, like chapters in a book. (K)
thanks for your inspiring feedback Kerfe – I see it too in stanzas for a poem….
Well-seen. Escalator and mannequin especially so.
thank you John – I like this kind of snatches series – goes to show how much there is to see when we look
