My hosta used to turn to mush at this time of the year. I had to let it go eventually as I was so tired of seeing it totally ravaged by the S&S. Again, I am drawn to your black and white plant portraits.
I favour the B&W often as it shows form best in my opinion
and also the larger thick leaved hostas are more resilient against slush and slug 😉
