I’ve not taken this walk since my dog Rosie had to be put to sleep back in March. She did not like to go far, being 16 years old but would venture down with me to see the donkeys and sheep in these fields at the end of my lane. Yesterday I took her ashes and scattered them along the hedgerows here as the evening sun was slowly sinking and creating this rather sad but mellow vista in memory of Rosie.

Ah. A good companion.
Some days missing her comes back even stronger
Losing a dog is a big thing.
It is a lovely view.
indeed and filled with memories
I’m sure xx
I’ve waited a few years to scatter our dear Sasha’s ashes, we just seem to be looking for a moment, how lovely to scatter Rosie’s along the lane she wandered. ❤️🤗
I just had to let her go…the moment arrived, the place was inevitable
Yes, I’m hoping for that, it will come … I’m so glad you had that moment …
💕
thank you x
