An expanding foreshore of the freshwater lake Kinneret aka the sea of Galilee. Due to agriculture, diversions, and drought, the lake is having to be topped up by desalination plants from the south of Israel.
“it rose 11cm in February from Jordan River flow & rains, but Israel Water Authority states more precipitation is crucial to fully fill the lake”.
