Ever since a child I longed for wings and curly hair but my locks are persistently straight so much so that even a 90s perm failed to hold for long. Instead my eldest daughter was gifted with auburn pre-Raphaelite curls. Neither of us yet have wings so this wire fairy sculpture of Robin Wright’s was a delightful encounter at Trentham Gardens last week.
