April 2018: Reiterating Eliot’s cruellest month, April mixed memory with desire by throwing in a few tantalisingly sunny days amidst a predominantly cold and persistent weather front. Seen here on one of the better days, the ‘Gherkin’ aka 30 St Mary Axe, sparkles and is reflected in a much larger glass and steel structure that competes for attention and space in the city of London. Hence the Gherkin is about to be swallowed up from view.
