I thought I had a batch of good photos from my Cornwall getaway but once they were pulled up on screen I could see all that was not quite right with quite a few of them. As they were only just off the mark, they make good subjects for photoshop and I just discovered a method of turning them into tinted arty prints using the Filter Gallery/sketch/stamp tool with overlay.

I do like these, Laura, especially the third one down with the close-up through the viaduct.
thanks Tish – they remind me of old fashioned illustrations –
& Brunel’s viaduct is a wonder to behold
Edward and Richard Bawden prints come to mind. And yes, you can’t beat a good viaduct for gloriousness.
thank you for that -looked up the Bawden brothers as new to me and I see what you mean
These work beautifully, I especially like the first boat.
thank you Jude – this is now my favourite edit
