A fountain in winter

A wintery day in Postman’s Park, in the city of London and how bereft the fountain looks. It’s water struggling to rise against the cold, and falling disconsolately through all the bearded folds of moss. It was these textures though that caught my eye and in black & white convey the mood most clearly.

  1. Dour day for the fountain perhaps. But I’m off celebrating with the leaves, us happy folk.

I need a button more joyous than merely “like”.
