Touché

Published on 19 Feb 202419 Feb 2024 by Laura Bloomsbury40 Comments
Before hands handled
eyes collided
an upward lash across the brow
nose in air, yours nuzzling closer
a hug, a push, a stroke, a scratch
touch-up, touchdown, I threw you out
you grazed a kiss past high cheekbone
full impact-lipped, We bonded then.
Touché.
