Conference pears lit up by winter sun. It streams through the south facing window and on to the polished bowl fashioned out of a broken tree branch, with all its gnarled and fissured imperfections. Now the pears are almost all eaten and soon dust will settle on the wooden surfaces, as I leave this blog and my home, for a holiday break.
Mundane Monday: Being alert to the small and simple things in my daily surroundings,

thank you Tish / yes a rare moment of winter sunshine
One has to gather them in. At the moment here we are grey grey grey and wet wet wet.
Gorgeous image! I love the bowl, I have one made from a coolibah tree, polished with imperfections, but the size of an ashtray rather than a fruit bowl. I love wooden objects.

So much warmth here. (K)
