Not trespassing but taking a public footpath that cuts through the wheat field. Time enough to stop and check if the wheat is ready to harvest – a lesson that may come in handy if farming were to be his future.

we must keep using these footpaths or lose them. Thanks Tish – actually he really is thoughtful – maybe wondering why his grandmother is teaching him how to test the harvest – or if she just makes it up as she goes along 😉
