I could almost believe that the Ricoh GRiii had read my recent blog post on spontaneity and imperfection as at the end of a walkabout in Plymouth it started shooting continuously and hence doubling and tripling the frames into these superimposed exposures. Since they were all the monuments on Plymouth Hoe of historic naval and air force commemorations, there is a certain rightness to their other worldliness:-

And in future if I want to do deliberate double exposures, there is a link on my camera tutorials page
Brilliant double [triple] exposures! I agree with that rightness!
such lucky accidents – a gift to artists and photographers alike
These are great. Just like collage. (K)
yes thought of you when I saw these!
Header image is wonderful. Good work!
thank you – am thinking of printing that one – owe it all to Ricoh
Much fond of the first, can we say, alternate seeing? Curious when you do it on purpose next time around. There’s a photo/artist I admire, Delphine Margau, and using one of hers on a future post. She’s all doubles or more. Me getting slower of late.
thanks – will look her up
Wow, that’s wild. They’re certainly interesting. The first is my favorite. I’ve thought about doing in-camera double exposures from time to time but have yet to try it.
we must both give it a go then!
