I’ve had a lot of photo fatigue lately which even two recent holiday breaks offering different views did not alleviate. But once again I’ve remembered that changing photo ratios with its differing perspective is one way out of the doldrums and so an evening walk yesterday rendered these. [click any to view closer]


Plants are ideal as its all in the detail of forms and sole focus


Light and shade and perspectives draw the eye into the 1:1 ratio though busyness in landscapes can reduce the effect so I was not sure about these two:-


Patterns fit the geometry perfectly and work well too when these veer into the abstract


For Monochrome Monday when even the photo blues are black and white and squared
