The autumnal equinox was 23rd September and it seems there will be no Indian summer this year. The season has quickly mellowed the deciduous into golden decaying hues and the mornings are brisk. Still I never let weather spoil a holiday break and made the most of the changes in land and seascapes, here in Kent.

These are wonderful, we have a lot of those wind-sculpted trees around here, too, especially up on the moors.
