One of things I miss about Central London is being able to walk through empty streets and places at the weekend, with time to stop and stare. This alley is Chichester Rents, an ancient thoroughfare incorporated into a modern office development. I liked to walk through here to Lincoln’s Inn and homeward to Holborn, always attracted by the combination of natural and artificial light.
For as long as I'm well, am posting a pic a day to enhance these Covid-19 times of isolation and lockdown
Eerie seeing these capital cities bereft of people ALL the time now.
indeed yet still some people gather
😨
I can see how the light there attracted you. It’s very interesting, especially in the areas where it overlaps and then changes. There are a lot of empty streets now. Or should be. Not sure how many people are not taking this very seriously.
the glassy surfaces add to the light effect too
[lots still ignoring lockdown & London is the epicentre]
