“Bring me the sunset in a cup,
Emily Dickinson
Reckon the morning’s flagons up,
And say how many dew;
Tell me how far the morning leaps,
Tell me what time the weaver sleeps
Who spun the breadths of blue!”

From such reservoirs we can ultimately fill our cups! This is Broomhead reservoir in which my daughter Catherine enjoyed an evening wild water swim
Sunday Sayings: A pick from the poets, writers or scriptures
Awwww… how beautiful and you reminded me of a greek saying when the sea is beautiful we say “you can drink it in a cup” but your daughter did so much more!!!!
how interesting Marina – almost as though the poet knew this
🤗😘
Laura, Just the title gives me ideas for photography from a totally different perspective. Love the pix as well as the verse.
Intrigued by your ideas!
Stunning photo, captured exactly as it looked and paired perfectly with the verse. Meanwhile I am cherishing the other beautiful photograph you sent to me of one of my favourite moments x
a gorgeous evening – and your photo will warm your new house – even though it depicts a cold water swimmer!!
Love that first pic! Even though I wouldn’t be tempted to take a swim there 😀
nor me – am not wild enough!
