There are times we inevitably ask ourselves: “why did I take this photograph” or “what am I trying to show here?”. The answer to this one is simple – because I loved the filigree network of these shrubs. And yes, there is something almost inexplicable as to why I like this so much so I can only say: “just because”. Furthermore I’m not aiming to chase down the photogenic but rather to record just what I’ve seen in this wonderful world, no matter how ordinary, even mundane.
When pruned back did we put down roots?
