half seen

The beauty of Suffolk is also the skies – they seem to hover just overhead or reach around like a comfort blanket. In this flat landscape horizons beckon and the ever-present waters of the Deben lap and lull with the tide. To capture these views, I break the photography rule of thirds and go halves. Good light also means my Ricoh CX3 can shutter down with some alacrity.

floating on a cloud
high tide at Haddon
boats at anchor, patient and serene on still waters
a breeze corrugates the waters of Martlesham creek
These landscapes of water and reflection are an obsession” ~ Claude Monet

A last ramble with my rather tired old Ricoh CX3 in Suffolk
