depictions by the rule of thirds; descriptions mostly freestyle words
Yesterday I published a Sunday Sayings post and meant to post this one instead. I’ve been all over the place recently – almost literally but certainly emotionally and cognitively.
I recently re-visited Ramsgate and surrounds, a place I spent with my late husband Martin and at this anniversary I find Edwin Muir’s poem (The Way) particularly apt and poignant. The photos are a mix of then and now.

Great photos. The black and white really sets the mood. Thanks for joining.

Thank you – the perfect word! And now I have lit another yahzeit candle for Yom Kippur

A wistful melancholic poem and lovely photos; the black and white edits are perfect. My mother died on this sad day 24 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday. Take it easy today Laura.

Time does not heal – it distances us from loved ones we have lost.
The poem speaks of the struggle for those of us left to carry on –
