Before social distancing when Covid-19 was unheard of and St Ives’ beach offered a perfect mid-week day out in August. I wonder if we will be able to get this close to each other this summer?

I usually avoid St Ives in August, maybe this year it will be very different. A lovely image Laura.
It was midweek but the train ride was hell but somehow we all dispersed – I chose art at The Hepworth gallery over the beach.
I do hope this virus dies out much much sooner… [though not for a crowded beach! 😉 ]

Monday they closed our beaches. Grateful that we caught a last walk on Sunday.
