A high contrast monochrome and the flour-white boarded Tidemill makes an ideal subject. In the 12th century Augustan monks built it to harness the power of the sea for grinding their corn.
Wheels and stones turn, grinding the grain as they have done for many hundreds of years. One of only a handful in the world still producing flour on a regular basis and among the first tide mills in the country, working on the same site for over 850 years
