As the moon meandered across the face of the sun with yesterday’s solstice, I took a sultry evening stroll across these fields, golden dry in this summer of heatwaves and drought, yet still the sheep found plenty to graze
and very welcome were these cool views of Derbyshire’s river Derwent and Chatsworth House though I was not tempted to join my daughter in her wild water swim here but instead went roaming further on
and as we left for home, I switched to black and white which makes the whole experience cooler!
